Jiquilillo’s hostel with a conscience, where you can do a lot or a little and still make a difference

Our beach house, palapas, and coconut thatched hammock area provide comfort from the sun while you enjoy the refreshing sea breeze.

Our idyllic beach-front hostel has been serving volunteers and travelers for thirteen years. We combine low-impact, natural living with projects that actively benefit the village.

Whether you are looking to escape, contemplate and create, surf, or just unwind for a few days, you will appreciate authentic Nicaraguan life at the beautiful beach setting of Jiquilillo where you’ll be confident that your presence is doing good not harm.

If you want a new perspective, our volunteer opportunities give you a chance to get involved in our community projects. We offer surf rentals and surf lessons, and also provide board repair. The local kids within Surf Club can provide their knowledge of local beach breaks, including the nearby shore and point breaks of El Asserradores.

For the adventurous, we and the community offer kayaking, volcano hikes, horse back riding, and cultural excursions.
