WHAT WE OFFER:
There is a huge array of activities right at our doorstep, whether you’re interested in learning about the local culture or looking for an adrenaline rush we will have something that’s right for you.

Sunset Baby Sea Turtle Release
Our local sea turtle superhero, Ramon, works hard to raise money to buy endangered sea turtle eggs that would otherwise be sold into the food industry as a delicacy. At sunset, baby sea turtles follow the light of the setting sun into the ocean, so after Ramon hatches the eggs for their protection from poachers, you can release the babies and watch them crawl into the ocean where they'll help to bring their species back to a secure status. This is a great mission to support!

Sand Flats Crabbing Class
Experience authentic local life with a class by Ramon on finding and catching crabs. This is a manual job out on the tidal sand flats. When the water recedes, the crabs bury themselves in the wet sand, and you have to find them! Our amazing cook, Ana, can cook the crabs you catch for your dinner. As this is an activity with Ramon, it also supports saving the baby sea turtles. This activity is about 2.5 hours.
